Occupation(s): I coordinate the fledgling Four Corners Recycling Initiative, which got off the ground July 14, 2008. I also work part time for Dragonfly Farms, a small farm that grows veggies and herbs for tea mixes. I'm doing some blogging about the farm work and my thoughts on the greater American agricultural landscape at Gristmill. I do some work as a photo editor for Bill Hatcher, a local photographer based in Dolores, Colorado. I'm busy, but enjoying my many projects!
For the past year I worked as a staff writer for the Cortez Journal in Cortez, Colorado. While there, I covered education, environment/energy, arts and entertainment, and other items for the paper. My occupational goal is to continue living a full life in one of the great small towns of the desert Southwest, performing a variety of activities that contribute to this amazing community. I continue to work as a freelance writer, editor, researcher, and graphic designer as time allows. For more information on my writing, see the Writing page.
Design: Design and aesthetics have long been a key part of my life and interests. In the past I have mostly done print design with Illustrator and InDesign (see SAGE magazine), You can now find links to my design work at Art Majeur
